This was one of those decks that I immediately knew was Daily Digest material. It's all the sweetest value creatures in one deck! Mulldrifter? Great. Siege Rhino? Great. Huntmaster of the Fells? Great. Eternal Witness? Well, you get the idea.
And the card that brings them all together? Seance. The now-Reddit-(in)famous enchantment lets you recur these creatures on every upkeep, not just yours, so you can easily run away with a game if it stays on the battlefield for more than a few turns.
The major downside is that the tokens Seance produces leave the battlefield at the end of the turn and they're not granted haste, so they aren't going to do much attacking. So while you're burying your opponent in card advantage, you need to be able to disrupt them to ensure they can't kill you with the top of their deck.
Against the most likely deck to do so, Burn, you have plenty of lifegain from Lone Missionary, Siege Rhino, and Thragtusk. Against decks that can go over the top of you, you have lots of land destruction from Fulminator Mage and Avalanche Riders. The most worrisome deck has to be Storm, where you're reduced to a few copies of Sin Collector in the sideboard. But this is Modern and you can't cover every base.
To prime the pump for Seance, the deck plays Satyr Wayfinder, which is perfect for the slot since it works well from your hand or graveyard, and Commune with the Gods, which is slow but helps you to find Seance in the first place.
The beautiful part of all this is the deck isn't all-in on Seance because the rest of the pieces let you play an attrition game very well. If your opponent has too much graveyard hate or enchantment removal, you can punish their virtual card disadvantage by jamming Siege Rhinos and Mulldrifters at them until they die with dead cards in their hand. It's not a plan that will work against most non-interactive decks in Modern, but the interactive decks will have those narrow answers anyway, so it's a great second plan to have without really trying.
