Finals: Arthur Reynolds vs. Andrew Schneider
Andrew Schneider is on the doorstep of his third Legacy Open Series with U/R Delver, but standing in his way is Arthur Reynolds and R/U Painter. Which player would get to claim the trophy?

Both players went down to six cards and Arthur led the finals off with a Seat of the Synod into Grindstone. Andrew started with a Goblin Guide and got in for two. Arthur played a Volcanic Island and passed. Andrew dropped another Guide so Arthur used a Force of Will on it, pitching another Force, then Andrew attacked for two and passed after playing a Scalding Tarn. Arthur passed with no play and Andrew bashed in with the Guide to knock Arthur down to 13, this time Arthur hit a land off the trigger. Andrew played land and passed the turn. Arthur dropped his Scalding Tarn and passed again with no play.
Andrew cracked a Scalding Tarn and played a Brainstorm, looking for more fuel and used a Gitaxian Probe to see Arthur’s hand then sent in the Guide to knock Arthur to 11 and shipped the turn. Arthur played an Ancient Tomb and passed without a play. Andrew sent in the Guide and passed. Arthur went to 8 at the end of the turn to fetch an Island then went 6 to play Intuition. Arthur found three copies of Painter’s Servant. Arthur untapped and Andrew fired off a Price of Progress, Arthur attempted to use Flusterstorm, but Andrew tapped two lands and Arthur scooped up his cards.

Arthur went to five while Andrew kept his opener. Arthur started things off with a Great Furnace into Sensei’s Divining Top and passed. Andrew had a turn-1 Delver of Secrets after fetching up a Volcanic Island. Arthur topped in his upkeep, then played an Ancient Tomb and took two to play a Painter’ Servant on “blue.” Andrew flipped his Delver with Gitaxian Probe and played the Probe then killed the Servant with a Lightning Bolt and attacked Arthur to 15.
Arthur cracked a Scalding Tarn to find an Island and went to 12 to play Llawan, Cephalid Empress which bounced the Delver and passed. Andrew Pondered, then Pondered again before passing. Arthur attacked with Llawan then topped and passed. Andrew found a Chain Lightning for 2/3, but Arthur drew off Top and played Flusterstorm, so Andrew paid the two to get rid of the creature and Arthur fetched up a Mountain at the end of the turn.
Arthur found another Ancient Tomb, but passed with no play and Andrew replayed his Delver and passed back. Arthur had no play so Andrew Brainstormed at the end step to flip his Delver with another Brainstorm then attacked Arthur to 8 and passed. Arthur had no play so Andrew played a Snapcaster Mage, and Arthur responded by using a Red Elemental Blast on the Delver. Andrew used Force of Will pitching Spell Pierce, so Arthur Forced back, and Andrew was fine with it. Andrew used a Lightning Bolt from the Snapcaster Mage, untapped, attacked and used another Bolt to seal the deal.
