Quick Question: Did you expect Grand Prix Atlanta to have a very different metagame from Seattle?
Did you expect Grand Prix Atlanta to have a very different metagame from Seattle?
The metagame is going to be more unpredictable because of Land Tax. We don’t know how that card will affect the format... Because of the undefined nature of the format, it seems likely we’ll have different metagames.
I think the metagames are going to be different. Seattle has a very large, active Legacy community—there are a lot of people who play Legacy, and I expect people to be playing the decks they already have the cards for.
I think so. With so many rounds, some of the decks that can do well in an eight-round tournament might not do as well in a sixteen-round tournament.
Yes. I know what the players up here play, whereas at a Grand Prix more people will attempt to play the best deck than their own homebrew. I expect a lot of Griselbrand decks in Atlanta, and not that many up here.
Probably not. The format’s not really moving that much right now.
