The many face of Dylan Donegan.
Dylan opened with a Temple of Epiphany while Sam kicked things off with a Favored Hoplite. Dylan paused before sending his team across and attempted to hit Sam with a Stoke the Flames, but Sam had a Stubborn Denial to save 4 life. Sam found an Ordeal of Thassa to grow his Battlewise Hoplite and attacked it, getting a scry and drawing two cards with the Ordeal. Following the draw, Sam used a Defiant Strength on the Hoplite, and knocked Dylan to 15. Sam deployed a Favored Hoplite and shipped the turn back.
Dylan fired off a second Treasure Cruise, looting away a land with the Ascendancy, and attacked with his team. Sam chumped with his two creatures and fell to 4 while Dylan went up to 19.
