Jacob sees what Satyr Wayfinder turns up.
Jacob, on the play, was happy with his opener while Jason went to six cards. A pair of tapped lands came from both players and Jacob made the first play a Courser of Kruphix. Jason started his third turn with an Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth and a Thoughtseize to take a Sidisi, Undead Vizier from Jacob’s grip and wrapped up his turn with a Rakshasa Deathdealer. Jacob had options and decided to use Abzan Charm to draw two cards, attacked for two, and played a Sandsteppe Citadel.
Jason hit his fourth land, a Windswept Heat that he cracked to fetch a Forest, and used a Dromoka’s Command to make Jacob sacrifice his Courser and put a +1+1 on the Deathdealer. Jason attacked for three and passed with his open two mana. A pair of Satyr Wayfinders found Jacob a Temple of Malady and a Plains and he played the Temple before passing back. Facing down just two 1/1s, Jacob served in with the Deathdealer and Jacob chumped it. Jacob untapped and played the Plains allowing him to get Elspeth, Sun’s Champion into play, making three soldiers.
Jason used another Thoughtseize to see three removals spells and another Sidisi, which Jason picked, and attacked Elspeth, though Jacob put a soldier in front to protect the Planeswalker. Still wanting Elspeth off the board, Jason used a Hero’s Downfall to kill her then passed. Jacob served in with his 1/1s and used Utter End to exile the Deathdealer. Jason got a one-mana Tasigur, the Golden Fang and deployed a Wingmate Roc before passing.
Jacob used a pair of Downfalls to kill off the creatures, attacked for three, and ended his turn with a Siege Rhino. Jason, looking to rebuild, played a Fleecemane Lion, but Jacob didn’t change his tune and attacked with his team to take the first game.

Jacob simply played a Temple of Malady and passed and the same attacks came from Jason, who again pumped and regenerated the 2/2s. Jacob went for a Murderous Cut on the pumped Deathdealer and Jason regenerated it as well. Jacob got another activation with Tasigur before damage, but got nothing after two lands came off the top. Jacob went for a main phase activation of the legend and got back a Wayfinder that he played, getting another temple that bottomed the top card. Jacob went to 5 off a Thoughtseize to see only a land in Jason’s hand.
Jason attacked again and Jacob chumped both and lost both as Jason had the opportunity to pump and kill Tasigur with no risk. Jacob drew and passed and Jason attacked with both and Jacob used a Bile Blight, but Jason had enough mana to get his team big enough to survive and get through for lethal.
