The Mirrodin Common Print Runs!
(Editor's Note: We present this without verification, as it was sent to us by an anonymous source. If you have a better list or believe that there are errors, please let us - and everyone else - know in the forums. Thanks - The Ferrett)
The following is based upon two tournament packs, three booster boxes, and some random booster packs. List A seems to contain the majority of the better draft cards and all the removal save , , and but I am fairly confident that this is correct. I leave the analysis to others.
The booster packs used came in the order commons-uncommons-rare. Note that List A consists of the full 110-card loop in booster packs. Boosters have one of the following distributions:
- 6 List A, 3 List B, 2 List C
- 5 List A, 3 List B, 3 List C
- 5 List A, 3 List B, 2 List C, Foil Common
- 5 List A, 2 List B, 3 List C, Foil Common
- 4 List A, 3 List B, 3 List C, Foil Land
Whether a pack is 6-3-2 or 5-3-3 (and likewise 5-3-2-Foil or 5-2-3-Foil) may be dependent upon the rare.
For the curious, Tournament Packs seem to use the order, for the most part. However, List A is split into two parts (as indicated below). The top part consists of fifty cards and the bottom part consists of sixty cards. Note that I have only opened two Tournament Packs. Tournament Packs seem to have the order:
7 List C, 7 List A Top, 9 List A Bottom, 9 List B.
I do not know the effect of foils or whether there is a second base distribution (as was the case in 8th Edition).
