Being the editor here at StarCityGames.com means you are essentially chained to the website five days a week, 52-weeks a year. Now, unlike previous occupants of this illustrious position, I negotiated two weeks release on good behavior with my captors, but I still don't get any holidays off and I haven't had a sick day or personal day in two years. October 12th is my yearly birthday, and The Ferrett, fine not-quite-rodent that he is, instituted the "editor's birthday means no editing day" years ago, and - being the traditionalist that I am - I'm keeping with the tradition.
Thus what you see on the page today is completely unedited and unsanitized for your protection. It also means that the people posted were totally unaware that they would be going up unedited and deserve your respect. Disrespect will get you the +b from the forums, no foolin'. If you aim to misbehave, y'all need to be findin' somewhere else to be doin' it.
What did I do today? Very little, actually. I drank a beer, transcribed some essays from my written travel journal, got a nice gift from The Ferrett as proof that birthday whoring pays off (Thanks, F), and a nice backrub from my wife. It was pretty low-key, but that's the way (unh hunh, unh hunh) I like it (unh hunh, unh hunh).
