This Week in Magic
Tom is joined by a special guest host, Andrew of Spellcasters! Pro Tour Berlin was this past weekend and Luis Scott-Vargas was crowned champ of a Top 8 filled with six elf combo decks. Gavin did very well for his first PT, and missed Day 2 by a hair. Check out this synopsis of an elf vs elf match where one player had to attack TWICE with a 142/142 Predator Dragon for the win. Overall, surprise of the tournament was the sheer dominance of the elf combo decks.
Spotted on video footage from PT Berlin showing another demo of the Duels of the Planeswalker game is a name for a presumed GB planeswalker from Alara Reborn, Nissa Revane! We also have the official deck lists for the Jace vs Chandra duel decks and they look great. Alara Unbroken novel cover has been spotted and see some new info for the upcoming Conflux set.
