MTGCast #189 - Creature Creep Conflict
"You read it somewhere else, but you heard it here first!"
This Week in Magic
We have Tom, Conley, Steve AND GAVIN this week! Hoo Yeah! First we discuss the SCG $10k in Dallas / Fortworth and mostly the somewhat anti-climatic finals for the Legacy portion. Group Game Draft looks like a blast if you have a group of kitchen magic players and some boosters. M2011 is officially announced along with the paper-version of the Duels of the Planeswalkers decks ($14.99, 60-card deck with five rares [one foil] and a M10 booster). The schedule for the "Nix Tix" drafts on MTGO has been listed. We also explore the "Official Reprint Policy Reserved Card List" for some incredibly broken cards that will hopefully never see the light of day again Pyramids, Conch Horn, Digideridoo, etc.).
What Have We Been Playing?
Tom and Steve enjoyed some EDH and Planechase. Gavin has been doing some MTGO drafting. Conley has been studying extended and working his pro-magic player booty at his new job at Enchanted Grounds.
