Pro Tour San Diego came and went this past weekend to give us a good look at Standard (Top 8 deck lists), congratulations to Simon Görtzen for being crowned champion and Luis Scott Vargas for going 16-0 on days 1 and 2 only to lose to Görtzen in the semi-finals. Conley Woods also made a splash with his Bant deck and his interesting deck proposal. The PT San Diego judge promo is a slick Natural Order with Visions art. We also had the full deck lists for the Duel Decks: Phyrexia vs the Coalition spoiled and EDH players should be thrilled. Peter "PTR" Szigeti receives a lifetime ban for "aggressive behavior" at GP Oakland. Interesting find of new art by Volkan Baga for Mox Jet / Ruby / Pearl and Emerald (about 2/3 down on the page). New MPS 2010 basic land promos spotted. Bill Stark has an awesome collection of old MTG video ads on thestarkingtonpost. Check out the change to the prize structure of WWK MTGO release events. Tom is tickled by Ken Nagle's mention of players that love Oozes during his Magic Cruise interview (~37:30). Last but not least, watch an opening of a Beta Starter deck (Death Lace? NOOOOOO!!!).
