Sweet Tweets: #IAmTheLaw
"They've had me in a holding cell for two weeks now and I'm due to be released today. Did I deserve to be in here? Maybe but the Azorius should have given me a trial. That's the law the invisible intangible thing that they hold so dear. But instead of following the law they used a loophole that states that 'citizens are not permitted to excavate or extract artifacts from the Agryem district without a permit.' The punishment for such a crime is a hefty fine but no Prison Term. Of course they had no proof I took anything nor could they establish that I was anywhere near the Ghost Quarter at any time near when the alleged crime was committed nor did they find anything in my home suggesting otherwise. But of course that's not going to stop those damned Droning Bureaucrats from a good indictment.
So they Arrested me. But if that wasn't enough the law also states they can hold me for two weeks under suspicion of 'intent to commit additional similar crimes in the near future.' A statute used to keep Rakdos cultists from continuous rioting is being used against me for archaeological theft. They put me in this box for a fortnight with that. What a load of bull.
The good news is they have to let me out so I can finally get a look at the Grimoire of the Dead I uncovered from the building I was never in at a time that I was home with a rock-solid alibi.
The bad news is they'll be watching. They suspect and that's all the proof they need. From now on they'll be watching."

All rise for the right honorable Azorius! It's Azorius Week in the Magic community and we are celebrating (albeit quite reservedly) all things blue-white including the illustrious history of tempo and control decks in the ubiquitous color combination and the Azorius keyword introduced in Return to Ravnica detain! While fans of the Azorius guild are more reserved and in control than some of their counterparts their supporters are no less ardent on social media:

Went X-0 at my prerelease with Azorius. The top 4 players were also all playing Azorius. I am now basking in my packs like Scrooge McDuck.— Aaron Wilburn (@AaronRWilburn) September 29 2012
