Q: I successfully cast Time Spiral, and it is currently out of the game. Now, I have Mirari in play, and Burning Wish in hand. I cast Burning Wish, and activate Mirari. Does the copy of Burning Wish resolve first, or the original? What I would like to do is retrieve Time Spiral with the original Wish, and then Wish for the now removed-from-game original Wish, leaving me Time Spiral and Wish in hand, and the copy removed from the game.
A: The Mirari triggers on the Burning Wish; the trigger is put on the stack, when the trigger resolves you choose if you pay or not. If you pay, you will copy the Wish and put the copy on the stack, the original Wish is still on the stack, so it isn't a legal target for the copy. You can't do what you suggest; you would need two Wishes for that.

Q: If I discard a Roar of the Wurm to Wild Mongrel, when does the card hit the graveyard - when I announce I am using the ability, or after the ability resolves and the mongrel is pumped?
A: Everything that is written before a colon is the cost of an ability. Often it is only tapping... But sometimes there are other costs. All costs are paid on announcement of the ability. When you announce the Mongrel abilty and pay its cost, the card will go to the graveyard directly.
Q: Assuming the card hits the graveyard after the ability resolves, which of the following is correct?
It's my turn, the card has just hit the graveyard, and the stack is empty. Can I Flash the roar before my opponent can remove it with a Steamclaw, or do I have to wait until we both pass priority after the Mongrel pump has resolved, thereby allowing my opponent a opportunity to remove the Roar before I can play a sorcery?
A: Let's asume you used Careful Study to put the Roar in the graveyard instead of the Mongrel. Whenever a spell or ability resolves, the active player will receive priority. When the stack is empty and it is one of the main phases of that player, he can play a sorcery.
Q: When an Anurid Brushhopper leaves play, do enchantments that may be attached to him fall off (such as Elephant Guide)?
A: The enchantment will fall off.
Q: Section 44 of the DCI Universal Tournament Rules states that:"Any card that is cut differently from the other cards in a player's deck may be considered marked if the entire contents of the deck is not placed in nonmarked, completely opaque card sleeves. For example, Alpha cards are considered marked if they are mixed into a player's deck with cards from other sets at a Magic event. However, Alpha cards are not considered marked-and therefore do not have to be in opaque sleeves-if the entire deck consists of Alpha cards." Does this mean that a deck of sixty 6x9 cards is tournament legal (though probably only Type 1 or 1.5)?
A: I assume you are talking about the oversized cards? They are not legal because they are not official Magic: the Gathering cards and have never been released as such. Maybe you should turn them over; most of them have
NOT FOR PLAY USE
written on the back....
