Q: If you play Neurok Transmuter's"turn into artifact" ability on a creature, and then use Memnarch to take control of that creature, will you keep control of that creature at the end of the turn when the Transmuter's ability ceases to function? Memnarch's ability states"this effect does not end at end of turn" but when the card ceases to be an artifact, do you still retain control of it or not?
A: You still maintain control. Memnarch's ability cares only that the permanent was an artifact when you took control. Once that ability resolves, you'll keep control of the permanent regardless of its type.
Q: I play a Limited Resources and my opponent and I have filled the maximum amount of land that can be in play. I have an Exploration in play. May I play land through my Exploration over the amount of allowed by Limited Resources?
A: No, you can't. Exploration allows to you have a second land drop each turn. Limited Resources stops players from making land drops once there are ten or more lands in play. You can still put lands into play with cards like Krosan Wayfarer and Firebrand Ranger.
Q: Can you untap another player's lands when you're resolving Time Spiral?
A: Sure. Time Spiral doesn't say that you can't. Note that the lands aren't targeted. You choose which lands untap during resolution of Time Spiral.
Q: Does Damping Matrix (or whatever) still work if I play March of the Machines?
A: It still works. March of the Machines doesn't remove abilities of the artifacts, it just makes them creatures as well.
Q: Can I equip my Skullclamp onto my opponents creature, killing it and drawing 2 cards?
A: No. You may only equip your own creatures (rule 502.33a).
Q: What about Spellbook and Thought Devourer Thought Eater, and Thought Nibbler? How do you reduce a no maximum hand size by 4, 3, or 2 cards? Let's say I have 10 cards in hand during the cleanup step, would the Thought Devourer's effect go into action and cause me to discard four cards?
A: Spellbook makes your hand size effectively infinite, although we don't like to use that term in Magic, so we use"no maximum" instead on Spellbook. No maximum minus 4 is still no maximum. You won't have to discard.
Q: If Lightning Greaves is removed from a creature that would normally have summoning sickness after it has been declared an attacker, does it continue attacking?
A: Yes. Once it's declared as a legal attacker, removing Haste won't stop it from attacking.
Q: Do I get a counter on my Sun Droplet when my opponent damages me with Disciple of the Vault?
A: No Sun Droplet triggers on damage being dealt; Disciple of the Vault makes you lose life.
Q: If I have a Mana Crypt and Umbilicus in play, during my upkeep can I take back the Mana Crypt to my hand before I have to flip the coin?
A: Yes. You control both triggers, so you decide in which order they go on the stack, meaning you'll decide in which order they'll resolve.
Q: If I attack with Pristine Angel, then before blockers are declared, I play Giant Growth targeting the Angel. Will it still deal damage even though it untapped? Does it get the +3/+3? is it unblockable (due to the protection)?
A: Once a creature is legally declared as an attacker, untapping it will not make it stop attacking. The Angel's triggered ability will go on the stack on top of Giant Growth, and by the time the GG goes to resolve, the Angel will once again have Protection from Artifacts and All Colors; the Giant Growth will be countered on resolution due to an illegal target. By the time blockers are declared, it can't be blocked because of the protection.
