P1P2: Either Connoisseur or Jund Charm puts me into BR, and I'd rather stay two colors and take a card that is essentially a bomb in the archetype anyway. Jund Charm is flashy and all, but I tend to take the token-based approach in BR, and most of my guys die to Pyroclasm anyway.
P1P3: None of the options are too attractive here, but I thought Ogre held more potential than Cavern Thoctar or Thorn Thrash.
P1P5: I could see taking Blightning here too, but I wanted to focus on being aggressive and get as much Unearth as possible.
P2P3: Tons of options here, but I feel that Pinger is the best and most flexible. Jund Charm is not very good in this deck with the large amount of x/1s I already have. Pinger is also a good tutor target for Connoisseur.
P2P6: Once I have Connoisseur, the card I most want in my deck (besides another Connoisseur) is Scourge Devil. I'm good in the two-drop department as well, which is yet another reason to pass on Fodder here.
P2P8: Normally I'd auto-pick Drake here without any kind of thought. I wanted to play Hellkite Overlord in my deck though, and I decided this was the time to grab an Obelisk to help casting it. Drake isn't the best ever in a deck with no Fodders as well.
2 Dregscape Zombie

2 Viscera Dragger
Scavenger Drake
Corpse Connoisseur
Scourge Devil
Vein Drinker
Archdemon of Unx
Hellkite Overlord
Sigil of Distinction
2 Jund Panorama

7 Swamp
7 Mountain
I forgot to save the decklist for this one so there's no sideboard. I did get totally hooked up in this draft with many late picks. I'm guessing just nobody decided to draft the deck this time around, and I got the full amount of cards. This is without mentioning I opened two bomb rares and got shipped Vein Drinker. It did feel good to have everything fall into place for once though, instead of being stuck with awkward picks and being unsure about what archetype I was in.
Round 1 I played against Naya. Game 1 I curved out with some Unearth guys and then burned a few of his ground guys. I slowly gained board advantage and then Connoisseured up Scourge Devil for the win. Game 2 I played Vein Drinker on turn 5, and he had no Oblivion Rings in sight and only small guys.
Round 2 I played against Naya again though I didn't see any Red cards, just Red land. Game 1 he got a fast draw and I was forced to assemble the defensive Stinger with Lightning Talons on it to hold off his Rhox Charger. I was basically all-in on praying he didn't have removal or pump for three turns, and he ended up not having anything and I eventually overpowered him with Sigil for 8. Game 2 I mulled and missed a couple of land drops and got bashed. Game 3 was really close since we both had quick draws and removal. We reached a point where I was at 8 and he was at 13 and we were both in topdeck mode. Thankfully my deck offered up Connoisseur and then Dragger to kill him a couple of turns later.
Round 3 I played against Esper. Game 1 I played two Stingers and he didn't do much after that. Eventually he cast a bunch of X/1 and X/2 guys on one of the final turns and I just killed them all and hit him with a bunch of guys. Game 2 I played Deathraiders into Stinger into Obelisk. He bounced my Deathraiders and played a couple of guys. After this I played turn 6 Archdemon of Unx, turn 7 Hellkite Overlord, and he conceded.
Until tomorrow...
