Blake McCracken is your Dallas/Fort Worth Legacy Open champion! Crushing the competition with an army of robots Blake’s Affinity build bested a bevy of talented opponents en route to a trophy finish. Even amidst this Legacy revolution the story of the weekend continued to be Gerry Thompson. After storming Level 6 by winning the Standard Open this morning Gerry drew into Top 8 with fellow Player of the Year contender Alex Bertoncini both vying to pad their totals and reach Level 7 in the Player’s Club. Alex fell in the quarterfinals but Gerry made it to the Top 4 earning enough points to make him the prestigious first Level 7 warlock. John Dale Beety and Nick Spagnolo won our Draft Opens and the weekend wrapped as one of the best Opens we’ve ever had in spite of some internet difficulties. This weekend of course will take us to Los Angeles for another Open Series weekend—see you there! Loading Event Photos...
