This is the Illusions deck from my article last week, with very minor differences. The deck itself has been performing incredibly well on Magic Online, in the hands of various players. I’ve gotten a ton of requests to talk more about the deck and a lot of positive feedback, so I decided to record a Daily Event using the deck.

The only decks I’ve really had a losing percentage against in the last few weeks are Mono Red and the mirror. Everything else has been relatively weak against the clock and disruption that this deck presents. Every creature is a significant threat on its own, but you will often see the synergy between a lot of the creatures while you’re applying pressure. Lord of the Unreal only pumps eight of your other creatures, but he’s a Grizzly Bears the rest of the time, which is just fine.

I’ve gotten a lot of questions about the deck. Hopefully these videos will help answer some of them, and possibly give you a bit of insight into the deck, and how I play it.
