STARCITYGAMES.COM OPEN SERIES COMING TO THE 2012 ORIGINS GAME FAIR
ROANOKE, VA - January 20, 2012 - StarCityGames.com, the world's largest Magic: The Gathering™ secondary market retailer, is proud to announce a StarCityGames.com Open Series weekend at the Origins Game Fair on June 2-3, 2012. This includes a full slate of Open Series events for both days, with a Standard Open on Saturday as well as a Legacy Open and two Draft Opens on Sunday.
This partnership marks the first time the StarCityGames.com Open Series has held an Open Series weekend during a convention. The StarCityGames.com Open Series is the world's largest independent Magic: The Gathering™ tournament series, featuring events throughout the continental United States. Top 8 competitors in the Standard and Legacy Opens, along with Draft Open winners, are qualified for any of the four annual StarCityGames.com Invitational tournaments, each of which feature a prize payout of $50,000.
