Digital Graphic Designer Position
StarCityGames.com is looking for an energetic, focused individual to join our Marketing and Branding department. Your responsibilities would include creating banner ads, e-mails, webpages, SCGMobile, print materials, and many other exciting projects we have in the works.
NOTE: All applicants for this position should provide a portfolio of previous work.
Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize and create graphics for web, print, and other media.
- Create web components using html, css, and other provided elements from our Web Development team.
- Learn new skills to assist the team as we expand to new mediums and take on exciting new projects.
- Work with Marketing and Branding team to plan future projects.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and one or more of the following:
- Dreamweaver
- Illustrator
- InDesign
- Flash
- Strong working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and other web-design elements.
- Ability to handle multiple projects at once, while maintaining a high focus on quality and detail.
- Relocation to Roanoke, Virginia.
Preferred, but not Required:
- Relevant degree or 2 years experience in graphic design
- Illustration experience
- Experience with php and javascript
