Q: I have Geth's Grimoire and play Wheel of Fortune when my opponent has seven cards. I draw 14 cards, right?
A: Correct. Geth's Grimoire triggers seven times during the resolution of Wheel of Fortune, but doesn't go on the stack until after you're finished resolving it. You draw the seven from the Wheel and then the seven from the triggers.
Q: I have Goblin Sharpshooter and my opponent has two Arcbound Workers. If I shoot one, will I be able to shoot the other before it gets its +1+1 counter? In other words does my sharpshooter untap before the Modular effect kicks in or can the active player chose how to stack this.
A: Depends on whose turn it is. If it's your turn, your Sharpshooter trigger goes on the stack and then his Modular. The Modular ability will resolve first. If it's his turn, the opposite is true. You always stack in APNAP order.
Q: If I have no creatures in the graveyard when Sword of Light and Shadow triggers, can I still can the life?
A: Yes, because it says"up to one target creature." If you choose 0 targets, then the ability can't be countered on resolution because it's untargeted. You'll still gain the life.
Q: When Second Sunrise is played, do creatures come into play tapped (like regeneration), or do they remain as they were before they went to the graveyard?
A: They come in untapped unless the card says otherwise. They're treated as brand new permanents, so they'll trigger comes-into-play abilities. They have no memory of their former life.
Q: My opponent activates Mindslaver, and on my turn he makes me cycle my Akroma's Vengeance. Can he choose the card to not be drawn?
A: No. The draw for cycling is not optional. Note that Landcycling is searching for a card; if he made you Plainscycle your Eternal Dragon, he could make you fail to find a Plains.
Q: I have Mossdog and Lightning Greaves in play. Is there any reason why I couldn't just continually equip Lightning Greaves a trillion times to Mossdog to make him immense?
A: Yes, are actually two reasons it doesn't work. First, once you've equipped him once, he's untargetable. If you try to announce the equip ability, the Mossdog isn't a valid target. You need two (targetable) creatures to do Greaves tricks. Second, Mossdog only triggers when it's the target of a spell or ability your opponent controls.
Q: Does Screams from Within target when it comes back into play? Can I attach it to a creature with Whispersilk Cloak equipped?
A: It doesn't target; you can attach it to an untargetable creature.
Q: How many tokens do I get if I play a Patriarch's Bidding, naming Elf, while having two Wirewood Hivemaster and four other Elves in my graveyard?
A: You'll get 10. Each Hivemaster will trigger five times (it doesn't trigger on itself).
Q: Can you Stifle the Fading ability of Blastoderm? It's untargetable, you know.
A: You can Stifle it because the ability, once triggered, exists independently of the creature. It doesn't have Blastoderm's abilities, and it's not untargetable.
Q: My opponent has Serra Angel and has Flickering Ward on it, giving it Protection from Green. During my turn, I play my own Flickering Ward on the Angel and give it protection from White. Does this cause his original Flickering Ward to fall off?
A: Yes, it will remove the original Flickering Ward, but not itself. Text that refers to an object it's own by name means just that particular object and not any other instances of it (rule 202.2).
