The actual draft part of this draft was pretty simple. I got into my colors right away, and had pretty straightforawrd picks throughout. I should explain the Sulfurous Blast pick. That was in fact a misclick. I meant to take the Stonebrow there, and in retrospect it would have been better to take the Prismatic Lens, but I couldn't have known I was going to get the one Blue card that I'd want to splash.

I played against Blue/White decks in both rounds before splitting. All the games were quite similar. Blue/White was the best possible matchup for this deck as they have a great deal of difficulty dealing with all the Saprolings and Deathspore Thallids. On top of that I drew the Penumbra Spider a lot which is a nightmare for them. In each game I was able to get ahead early, thanks to all the two mana spells, and was then finish them off with the card advantage provided by the Deathspore Thallids (once in combination with the Thelonite Hermit).
