This draft was fairly frustrating. Pack 2 was absolutely terrible for me, even though I passed very little in my colors in pack 1. My deck still ended up decent, although not great. I had Stormbind but very little mana fixing, so I played eighteen lands hoping that my card draw could get me through any mana floods that may pop up.

I lost a very frustrating first round. In game 1 I missed my fourth land drop, but then was able to Fathom Seer into some lands... and didn't stop drawing lands. Eventually I had fourteen lands and six spells. All the while he's making my life difficult with all sorts of combat tricks and Serrated Arrows. I was able to stabilise at two with three creatures to his five because he decided to play around my nonexistent trick and not attack. Despite having drawn fourteen of my lands, I hadn't drawn a Forest so the Stormbind was sitting uselessly in my hand. After a few turns of us saying go, I drew the Forest and killed two of his creatures, but he of course had his maindeck Krosan Grip which stopped me from taking over the game. He then drew Havenwood Wurm next turn and finally decided to make the attack which I couldn't stop. The next game I fell behind early, but stopped him with Slipstream Serpent while my Basalt Gargoyle killed him. Game 3 I was again flooded and he had a perfect curve. It looked like I was going to stabilise behind my Serpent but he had Strength in Numbers and Thrill of the Hunt, despite having no cards in hand two turns previously...
