Our crash couldn't have come at a worse time if it had been planned. I was away on a three-day vacation, in the high woods of Albany, and StarCityGames.com's home office was just getting over a spate of technical difficulties. So when the site went down, there wasn't a whole lot we could do until I could get to my backups and restore them.

Reestablishing the site took us the weekend, and caused a bunch of further problems when it turned out the people who were supposed to be helping us"fixed" something which created more problems. We're currently looking into why the site crashed with a very thorough eye, and taking steps to ensure that it doesn't happen again. Fortunately, only our least-critical (yet most-visible) server went down.

In the meanwhile, we're still reconstructing much of the site, and working on getting the email addresses back up and running. We thank you for your patience.
