The Last-Chance Qualifier drew eighty-seven people last night, with the top four getting Pro Tour: New Orleans slots. Two of the notables who got slots were Joshua X. Claytor, self-confessed terrible player - but after his Day Two showing at Grand Prix: Atlanta, fifth-place showing at Kentucky States, and his last-minute grind-in, he may want to rethink that monicker. Not so lucky were famed Team Academy barn Geddes Cooper, who came in at a heartbreaking fifth.

Five different decks made the Top 8, indicating that metagame choices continue to be alive and well in Standard.
